Lake Tahoe Wedding – Marji + Russ

Ok, if you don’t like beautiful places or if your don’t like beautiful people or if you don’t like beautiful weddings… STOP reading right now. If you do like those things… please continue… :-)

Here is Marji and Russ’s wedding in South Lake Tahoe. They had such a beautiful day, perfect weather! We started off the day at Marji’s parent’s cabin with all the pre-wedding photos then headed to the beach for the portraits of the guys and girls. The Ceremony was held at Round Hill Pines Beach, right near the crystal clear waters of Lake Tahoe. Marji and Russ put together a really cool “Love Birds” theme for their reception complete with bird cage center pieces and a bird’s nest cake topper. And since Marji is a fantastic singer (visit her site here – http://www.marjielizabeth.com/) they went with a musical theme for their table names using all their favorite singers and song writers. Marji and Russ even sang a song together during their ceremony.

El Dorado Hills Wedding – Tatiana + Chris

Tatiana and Chris had such a fun wedding up at Serrano Country Club in El Dorado Hills. Serrano is such a beautiful setting for a wedding! Instead of a traditional DJ, Chris asked his good friend’s band, The Golden Cadillacs, to play. They were great and the place was jamming for hours! Their cake was from Freeport Bakery and as usual did an amazing job.

Tatiana and Chris are such naturals in front of the camera, every photo ends up looking like it’s out of a fashion magazine. Enjoy…

Grand Island Mansion Wedding – Brianna + Kyle

Here is Brianna and Kyle’s wedding at The Grand Island Mansion. Brianna and Kyle have the best sense of humor, and we spent the whole day laughing so hard while shooting. But when it came time for the ceremony and Kyle saw his bride for the first time, there were tears of joy. Brianna and Kyle have such a special connection, whether it be in laughter or in tears, they truly love each other.

Their wedding had super bright summer colors of pinks, blues and greens. Jackie’s Flowers did a great job with the center pieces and bouquets. Brianna’s bright pink bouquet was actually made by her mom, Gracie, using many of the silk flowers and embellishments from her original bridal bouquet from the 70′s. Lien Sanchez with The Crazy Cake Company did an amazing job with little bite sized cupcakes, a beach themed anniversary cake and Kyle’s bat-mobile groom’s cake. To top it all off, Justin Prahar with Sounds To Go did an outstanding job MCing the event.

Newcastle Backyard Wedding – Sam + Chase

There is something special about Sam and Chase. They are the kind of couple when you’re around them you are just happy. Their intimate backyard wedding was such a joy to photograph, so many friendly people and good times!

We started the day with a first look. When Chase turned around to see his beautiful bride for the first time he was speechless, but after a few moments he managed to say just one word… “wow!”. This moment set the tone for the rest of the evening, which ended in a shower of sparklers as Sam and Chase left for their honeymoon… Enjoy!
